What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise it on later visits. It can remember a preference, keep a session open or, on other sites, measure audiences and build advertising profiles.
lapsor.com only uses the first kind. It sets no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, and it shares nothing about your browsing with outside platforms.
Which cookies this site uses
This is the only cookie the site actually sets:

The notice also provides for a preference cookie, lang-preference, intended to remember the language you prefer to read the site in. It is not set today: the language is chosen on each visit from the selector in the header. If that feature is switched on later, it will only be set with your consent and this table will say so.
The same goes for analytics: if any is ever added, this page will be updated and your permission asked before anything is installed.
How your consent is asked for
The notice appears on your first visit and nothing is installed before you decide. You can accept, reject, or open the settings and decide by category. Necessary cookies are set either way, because without them there would be nowhere to keep your own decision.
That decision is kept for twelve months. To change it, delete the lapsor.com cookies in your browser and the notice will appear again on your next visit.
Managing them from your browser
Every browser lets you review, block or delete the cookies already stored, site by site. The setting sits in the privacy section of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
Blocking them does not stop you reading this site. The only effect is that the cookie notice will show on every visit, because your earlier answer cannot be remembered.
Changes to this policy
This policy is reviewed whenever the cookies on the site change, or the rules that govern them do, including the guidance issued by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
